Coleman began acting at a young age. She appeared in community theater productions and school plays. When she was 11 years old, she landed her first professional acting role in the film “The Last Song” (2010). She played the younger version of Miley Cyrus’ character, Ronnie Miller.
After “The Last Song”, Coleman had guest roles on television shows such as “CSI: Miami” (2010) and “True Blood” (2011). In 2012, she starred in the film “We’re the Millers” alongside Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis. The following year, she had a recurring role on the Disney Channel series “Jessie” (2013-2015).
